Steve and I just launched a brand new website redesign for Cashiers Insurance Agency, an Independent Agent in the Cashiers, North Carolina area.

CIA contacted us looking for a snazzy new website upgrade compared to the somewhat hohum website they had. We designed the front end graphics to jive with the feel of the Cashiers and Highlands area, using background images of Whiteside Mountain and the surrounding mountains and forests of the NC Highlands.

When designing the visuals for the site, we made efforts to use minimal, lightweight image sizes while still allowing a rich, textured website with depth. On the backend side of things, we went with a WordPress and several additional plugins to power everything, allowing the client to easily maintain the website, saving them the (unneeded, nowadays) need to have us or another web developer to make their updates.

We think the site came out wonderful, and presents CIA’s content in a friendly, familiar manner catering to web visitors in the middle-to-older age bracket.
